    Companies Stu Likes

Recent transactions with the following companies have been positive and it seems fitting to share.

Banner Engineering Corp. www.baneng.com This photoelectric specialist company responded very quickly to my request for minor, but necessary, parts for my Pro-Drive balancer. I'm at a loss to figure out how they got the parts from Minnesota to California in such a short time. On top of that: No charge!!

McMaster-Carr www.mcmaster.com The big Yellow book. Not always the lowest prices, but absolutely the fastest service: Calling before 4:30pm, The order is consistently here by noon next day. Their 3592 page catalog is excellant for ideas.

Oregon Aero www.oregonaero.com Quality service is important to these folks. They spent their time to help solve a problem that wasn't theirs. They had previously modified my helicopter helmet which was causing minor headaches. Look Ma! No headaches!

Shooting Star Technology www.star-techno.com Digital Read Outs (DRO) for your lathe and mill. Better product, better price. I have one on my lathe and it functions much better than a more expensive brand X on my mill. See their ad

Skytronics www.skytronicsinc.com Quick, no hassle, response fixing a minor problem with their product. Good looking and well constructed ignition harness.

Sky-Tec www.skytecair.com They went to extra effort to get me using the proper starter for the Lycoming engine with the Lightspeed ignition.

Vern Lewis Welding Supply (623) 932-0341 Phoenix Arizona. Fixed my cracked blade support at Copperstate Fly-In at No charge and Scott Skrjanc (no miss-spell) did an excellent job and recommended and installed improvements.
